Actor Ethan Hawke has signed on to star in Vigilandia for Paranormal Activity producer Jason Blum and Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes production company, according to Variety.
Little is known about Vigilandia, except that it will be a futuristic thriller. James DeMonaco (Assault on Precinct 13, Skinwalkers) will direct from his own original screenplay. Jason Blum will produce alongside Platinum Dunes principals Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Bradley Fuller. Sebastien Lemercier is serving as executive producer.
Ethan Hawke is reuniting with Jason Blum, who produced the actor's upcoming thriller Sinister, due in theaters August 24.
