The cast of Alex Proyas' take on the classic Paradise Lost is getting ever stronger, with the latest addition being Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell who joins the likes of Bradley Cooper, Benjamin Walker, Djimon Hounsou, Casey Affleck, Camilla Belle, and Callan McAuliffe.
Purcell will play Jerhamel, an angel who is persuaded to join Lucifer (Cooper). He eventually becomes Lucifer's right-hand man under the new name Moloch. Benjamin Walker will be the archangel Michael, who wages an all-out war with Lucifer over who will control heaven.
Alex Proyas is directing, based on John Milton's 17th century epic poem. It isn't known when production will start on Paradise Lost, but with most of the major roles now cast, it's not likely to be too long. The film is expected to be in cinemas in 2013. (Source: THR)
