A couple of months ago it was revealed that Judd Apatow was working on a spin-off off of Knocked Up, which would focus on Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann's married 'normal' characters and give them their own movie. As both those actors have been mainstays of the supporting casts of Apatow's flicks (Mann is Apatow's wife, so it's no suprise he casts her a lot), it's great they're finally getting to take centre stage.
Now they might have some support of their own, as THR reports that Megan Fox is in negotations to join the untitled movie. There's no news on what role she might play, or indeed any info on the overall plot. However what's the betting that Fox will be some sort of temptress potentially upsetting the apple cart of Mann and Rudd's marriage?
If Fox does sign on, it'll be good news for her, as with Jennifer's Body and Jonah Hex failing at the box office, and perhaps more damagingly her character getting hacked out of Transformers 3, she could do with a big project to help bouy up her star power. She's recently been concentrating on indie movies, but sadly for her, Passion Play got dismal festival reviews. Fox just wrapped Friends With Kids and is shooting The Crossing, so maybe those films will help her out until Apatow's flick arrives.
