Will people care about Robert Pattinson if he's not being a vampire? They didn't flock to Remember Me, and while the upcoming Bel Ami doesn't looks like it'll break the bank, Water For Elephant is a potentially more commercial prospect. Pattinson stars alongside Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz, playing veterinary school student Jacob, who meets and falls in love with Marlena (Witherspoon), a star performer in a circus of a bygone era. They discover beauty amidst the world of the Big Top, and come together through their compassion for a special elephant. Against all odds - including the wrath of Marlena's charismatic but dangerous husband, August (Waltz) - Jacob and Marlena find lifelong love. There's even the promise of a major circus disaster! It does look like it could be one of those romances with a little more to offer than usual, and we'll be able to find out when it hits cinemas on Aptil 22nd, 2011. Click below for the trailer.
