The Sorceror's Apprentice - Character Trailer

While The Sorceror's Apprentice hits US cinemas this Friday, it doesn't arrive in the UK until August 11th. However over in the States they've released a pretty cool new trailer for the film, which introduces us to the characters and gives us a better look at the plot than we've had before. It's well worth a look so click to see it below. In the film Nicolas Cage stars as Balthazar Blake, a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). However Balthazar can't do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé.
