To go with the character posters Disney has been releasing this week (which you can see here, here, and here) they've now sent over a new trailer, which gives us a fresh look at the Jerry Bruckheimer produced action fantasy in which Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage), a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan, is trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath. However Balthazar can't do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. The Sorceror's Apprentice hits UK cinemas on August 11th. Click below to take a look at the new trailer, which certainly makes it look like the film might be fun.
