Any film starring Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, John Hurt and Tom Wilkinson has to be worth a watch, doesn't it? That's what you get with 44-Inch Chest, which hit cinemas to much acclaim earlier this year and now comes to DVD and Blu-ray on May 10th. And to celebrate the release, we've teamed up with Momentum Pictures to offer two lucky readers a copy of the film on Blu-ray in all its hi-def glory.
Set against a seedy East End gangster backdrop, Colin Diamond (Winstone) is in agony, shattered by the bombshell of his wife’s (Joanne Whalley) infidelity with a young French waiter known as Loverboy. His motley crew of friends – foul mouthed Old Man Peanut (Hurt), intelligent, wealthy and gay Meredith (McShane), Archie (Wilkinson) who lives at home with mum, and Mal (Stephen Dillane) – kidnap Loverboy (Melvil Poupaud) and assemble a kangaroo court so that Colin can restore his manhood with revenge.
