Dear John Featurette and Trailer

Ever since The Notebook proved a surprise success, Hollywood has been busy trying to bring Nicholas Spark's other romatic novels to the big screen. 2010 sees two of them arrive, with Miley Cyrus in The Last Song. and Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum in Dear John.

A new featurette and trailer has popped up online for Dear John, which sees romance blossom between a soldier on leave and a college student. However their love for each other is tested when he returns to war, but they try to stay close by writing each other a series of letters. It all looks nauseatingly romantic, but director Lasse Halstrom is normally pretty good with these things, so hopefully it'll be sweet rather than sickening (it even look like Channing Tatum does some proper acting, which he seemed to have forgotten how to do in the last couple of years).
