Although there's been teasers for Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 before (which seems to be the name now, although it was previously subtitled, The Squeakquel), now we get our first look at the plot in this new trailer, which seems to have sidelined Jason Lee's Dave, who's in hospital after an accident, and sent the squeaky pop star rodents to school, where they come up against the alluring charms of female chipmunk singing trio, The Chippettes.
