For a while now we've been intrigued by the bizarre casting of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as the titular character in the family adventure, Tooth Fairy, and now we get our first look at the rather peculiar new film. Johnson plays hockey player Derek Thompson, who doesn't believe in magic and has a reputation for being a bit of an ass both on the ice and off. As a result he is punished by being forced to become a tooth fairy, leading to all sorts of magical hi-jinks. And seeing as this is a full-on family flick, we'd also be willing to bet he learns to be a better man. The first trailer has now arrived, so click below to see The Rock getting his wings and playing with his tough guy image. Tooth Fairy will be in UK cinemas on January 22nd.
